Manifesting & Growth Mindset
Gratitude for the joy I have now and for everything on its way to me

Joy, Visualization, Gratitude
This week, I listened to the audiobook of The Secret. I remember it was a huge thing back in the 2000’s. Essentially, it’s a guide to manifesting the life that you want. Here are my high-level takeaways:
Like attracts like. So if you can find the small joys in your life right now, however small, your mind will automatically create more of that joy. Essentially, it’s about being present and allowing yourself to experience the beauty all around you. For me, I focus on the taste of a cup of chai, the scent of fresh flowers, or the sound of rain.
Visualize your ideal life while deeply engaging your senses and feelings. Want a new apartment? Imagine what it feels like to walk into your ideal living room, feeling the sunbeams coming through your floor-to-ceiling windows. What does it smell, sound, and look like? Feel into the joy, the peace, the relief standing there brings you. Allow these sensations and feelings to fill your body.
Find gratitude for what you have and what’s coming to you. Gratitude for the small pockets of joy that already exist in your life, and for all the things you are manifesting, trusting that they are already on their way to you.
Fixed → Growth Mindset
A fixed mindset is an excuse to stay in the status quo, whether we realize it or not. It’s far more comfortable to do the things we’ve always done than to grow or change. Here are some statement replacements to help shift from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset:
“I’ve always been this way.” → “I’m open to exploring a new way of being.”
”You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” → “I can always learn something new.”
”I find it really hard to change.” → “As a human being, I’m wired to adapt and grow.”
🎨 Art
I’ve really been on an upswing this week. I’ve been noticing I’m feeling more motivated, more focused, and more willing to grow and change, and I felt inclined to capture that in a piece centered around affirmations.
Tabla + Handpan music
This video has single-handedly helped me find more peace, energy, and productivity in the last week. It features two of my favorite instruments in the world and has really given me grounding and peace this week. Hope it can help you too :)
